Fasten your seatbelts, as we’re taking a drive down memory lane. In this blog post, join us in reliving some of our most memorable moments from the past twelve months, from innovative product launches to engaging with the community and everything in between.
A year of visual upgrades in the fitting bay
This year, our fitting bay in Leeds welcomed a diverse array of cars. Each vehicle was given the Maxton treatment, the installation of stylish aftermarket body kits, elevating their overall aesthetic. From a quick and effective Spoiler Cap to a full styling body kit, we’ve done it all.
We asked our fitting technicians to share their favourite selections from the year 2023.
Brad:
My favourite car we worked on this year is a BMW X5M Competition that was in the fitting bay recently. I think it’s a great looking car, it’s definitely a dream car of mine.
Dee:
My highlight was the Volkswagen Golf MK8 R that came in for a full kit. I’ve always wanted one since I was young, so it was nice to get my hands on one, even if we did have to give it back afterwards!

New Members of the Maxton Fleet
The Maxton Fleet saw the exciting addition of several new vehicles throughout the past 12 months. First, the sleek Porsche Macan GTS pulled up in February. The highly popular BMW M2 G87 landed in July and, more recently, the stylish BMW X5 was collected, completing a year of exciting arrivals. They are all sights for sore eyes when sitting pretty in our carpark.
While the M2 is already far along in it’s modification journey with Vossen wheels, a Milltek exhaust system and, of course, a Maxton styling kit installed, the Porsche and BMW have still got all this to look forward to in the new year. Stay tuned into our Instagram page as we’ll be documenting their transformations!
Maxton Carbon: A new way to style your car
In 2023, we ventured into an entirely new market with the introduction of Maxton Carbon. This launch marked a significant moment for us as it opened doors to a fresh audience, expanding the Maxton community even further. From initially offering kits tailored for the BMW M3, M4, and Audi RS3, we've now broadened our carbon range to include luxurious carbon kits designed for the M2, M135i, Audi RS6, and RSQ8, offering a wider selection to our growing customer base.
Although it comes at a higher cost, there are plenty of benefits of visually upgrading your car with Maxton Carbon parts. One of Carbon Fiber’s most notorious benefits is it’s low weight-to-strength ratio. Of course, a lighter car means improved fuel efficiency, more responsive handling and improved performance. Despite being lightweight, carbon fibre is also incredibly strong. Of course, it looks great too.
New Dealers
We also welcomed a range of new businesses to the Maxton family this year. Our dealer network spans across the globe, consisting of body shops, dealerships and modification specialists that supply our styling kits. Of course, the more dealers we have on board, the easier it is for you, the consumer, to get your hands on a stunning styling kit that transforms the look of your car.
You can check out our list of dealers, both new and old, on our Maxton Dealers page.
Car Shows
Our fifth and final highlight of 2023 was interacting with Maxton enthusiasts, both old and new, during the various car shows we attended. We had a blast at both Ford Fair and German Car Festival at Silverstone and Gravity in the NEC. It was an absolute pleasure meeting and chatting with car-fanatics around the UK, not to mention the much more enjoyable summer weather outside.
